In response to the Consultation on future development of vocational/ professional education and training (VPET), MWYO submitted the relevant policy recommendations in July, regarding

1) the effectiveness of VTC Earn and Learn Pilot Scheme;

2) roles of Higher Diploma programmes;

3) directions of promoting VPET in secondary schools; and

4) ways to enhance business-school collaborations.

Strengthening VPET not only benefits Hong Kong’s labour resources development, but also fully releases students’ potentials.
